The Ventana family of scan optics provides large fields-of-view for laser scanning. In multiphoton imaging applications, such as two-photon calcium imaging, the optics provide diffraction limited imaging across the full field-of-view, with large beam diameter scanning to ensure high resolution images.
A new standard in scan engine optics
For decades, laser scanning optics have been constrained to the old standards used in conventional microscopes, including the physical dimensions of the tube lenses in those systems.
Here, with the Ventana family of optics, Pacific Optica is introducing a new standard. We prioritize even optical performance across large fields-of-view.
The Ventana SL is a scan lens, and it can also be used in pairs as an optical relay. The Ventana TL is a tube lens, designed to work with the Ventana SL to form a high performance scan engine. There is nothing else like them available anywhere.

Ventana SL and TL enable you to custom build two-photon imaging systems with a larger, higher fidelity field-of-view than almost any other commercially available systems.
Ventana SL and TL unlock the limited optical etendue available from the off-the-shelf components. The improvement is not incremental, it is a giant leap forward.
With the Ventana SL and TL, you can build your own large field-of-view two-photon imaging system based on your innovative ideas, optimized for your experiments.
